After being announced earlier this year, Roku‘s Select, Plus, And Pro Series TVs for 2025 are now available to buy in the U.S. These latest Roku TVs provide consumers with a number of upgrades over last year’s models, including improved accuracy and smarter features.

When it comes to the Pro Series, Roku’s most premium TV series, the 2025 models focus on picture quality improvements. The latest models feature the next generation of Roku Smart Picture Max resulting in access to what Roku says is its “most advanced video ever.”

Other improvements to the picture quality come in the form of improved realism and accuracy of content, as well as a re-engineered Mini-LED backlight that’s designed to produce sharper highlights and minimize blooming.

Since launching our first Roku-made TVs two years ago, we’ve focused on creating products that marry our easy-to-use software with thoughtfully designed hardware to give our customers the best possible experience—something simple that both looks and sounds great,” said Paul Nangeroni, Senior Director of Product Management at Roku.

While the Pro series is the more advanced lineup, the Plus series is likely to be where consumers see the most value, as the cheaper series now includes many of the features found on last year’s Pro models.

For example, Smart Picture Max, an in-house Roku solution designed to intelligently provide scene-by-scene adjustments in a bid to improve the look and feel of content without the need for manual adjustments, is now available on Roku’s 2025 Plus series models.

Our 2025 lineup furthers that commitment with performance upgrades and intelligent features designed to take the guess work out of getting the best picture and sound, no matter what you’re watching,” added Nangeroni.

With mini-LED backlighting, and enhanced QLED color, also available on the Plus series, Roku says buyers can expect deeper blacks, better contrast, and more lifelike vibrancy.

As these are Roku TVs, all of the latest models also come loaded with Roku OS, providing access to a variety of streaming apps. This is in addition to The Roku Channel, the company’s own streaming platform that includes paid and free content.
