Samsung TV Plus has gained 10 new ViX channels, thanks to an expansion to the existing distribution deal between TelevisaUnivision and Samsung.

There are plenty of free streaming service to choose from these days, and Samsung TV Plus is Samsung’s offering. Widely available on Samsung smart TVs and Galaxy mobile devices, the service offers access to more than 200 live TV channels and 1000s of movies and shows on demand.

Now joining that list is another 10 channels from the house of ViX. According to the announcement, the expanded partnership means Samsung TV Plus is the first to bring these channels to a FAST and AVOD platform.

We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with Samsung TV Plus and extend the footprint of our leading ViX channels for consumers to enjoy the best in Spanish-language entertainment,” said Adam Waltuch, Executive Vice President of Global Distribution and Streaming Partnerships at TelevisaUnivision. “This launch builds upon the incredible momentum we’re seeing for ViX and enables us to deliver even more touch points for our audience in all the places they consume content.”

For those already using Samsung TV Plus, the new channels provide access to content spanning news, sports, entertainment, novelas, comedies and lifestyle. The new channels are:

  • Aqui y Ahora
  • Cine de Oro
  • Cine de Retro
  • Como Dice El Dicho
  • Galanes
  • Las 3 Marias
  • Noticias Univision 24/7
  • Pequenos Gigantes
  • Rebelde
  • Zona TUDN

All ten of these ViX channels are available on Samsung TV Plus beginning today, so those with an eligible smart TV or Galaxy smartphone should now be able to find them listed in the live guide.
