Fox Sports channels are available on YouTube TV, but many Fox Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) are not. This is mostly due to the difference in ownership between Fox Sports and the various RSNs. This guide will provide a brief overview of which Fox channels are on YouTube TV and which are not.
YouTube TV continues to be a popular option for consumers looking to cut the cord, as well as for those switching for a more robust channel lineup. Although YouTube TV is priced at $65 per month, the package does come with more than 85 channels. More recently, YouTube TV has made a dedicated effort to expand its sports content with the introduction of the Sports Plus add-on, as well as the addition of NFL Network and NFL RedZone. Due to this, YouTube TV has become a much better option for sports fans, and especially those looking to stream football.

Fox RSNs On YouTube TV
Although YouTube TV has been expanding its sports coverage lately, Fox RSNs is one of the areas that the live TV streaming service has cut back on. YouTube TV used to provide access to a selection of Fox RSNs, but they were removed as part of a carriage dispute. As a result, many Fox RSNs are no longer available on YouTube TV.
The Fox RSN issue for YouTube TV subscribers started very early in 2020 when the regional sports networks were removed. This was a temporary issue at the time, as Fox RSNs did return to YouTube TV, albeit not for everyone. The return of the channels was part of an extension agreed between Sinclair Broadcast Group and YouTube TV, and included 19 of the 21 Fox RSNs. Besides the additional lost Fox RSNs, the deal also resulted in YES Network being removed from YouTube TV:
Fox RSNs removed in March 2020:
- Fox Prime Ticket
- Fox Sports West
However, by September of 2020, the issue resurfaced and YouTube TV confirmed Fox RSNs were being removed again, but this time for good. The change eventually took effect on October 1, 2020.
Fox RSNs removed in October 2020 included:
- Fox Sports Arizona
- Fox Sports Florida
- Fox Sports Midwest
- Fox Sports North
- Fox Sports Ohio
- Fox Sports San Diego
- Fox Sports South
- Fox Sports Southwest
- Fox Sports Southeast
- Fox Sports Sun
- SportsTime Ohio
Since then, all of these Fox RSNs, including the ones lost in March (and YES Network) have remained unavailable on YouTube TV. That’s not to say they won’t return in the future as there is always the possibility Sinclair and YouTube TV will agree a fresh deal. However, with Sinclair having recently announced it will be launching a standalone Bally Sports direct-to-consumer streaming app next year, baseball, basketball, and football fans may find they will need to subscribe to an additional service to stream Fox Regional Sports Networks in the future.
YouTube TV Fox Sports & RSNs summary
Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2 are both available with the $64.99 per month YouTube TV plan. Subscribers looking to stream either Fox Soccer Plus or Fox College Sports will need to also subscribe to the YouTube TV Sports Plus add-on, priced at $10.99 per month.
When it comes to Fox RSNs, although these were previously available on YouTube TV, they no longer are, after the streaming service failed to agree a deal with Sinclair Broadcast Group. While these channels may return in the future, YouTube TV subscribers will likely need to consider also subscribing to the upcoming Bally Sports service for access to Fox RSNs in 2021 and beyond.
