What You Need to Know
- DirecTV launched a new ad campaign to promote its MiEspañol Genre Pack.
- Featuring Adamari López, the campaign includes a new 30-second TV spot.
- The ad and wider campaign is designed to highlight how MiEspañol offers more than just sports.
DirecTV launched its MiEspañol Genre Pack in early 2025, at the same time as its MyNews and MyEntertainment Genre Packs, and a few weeks after the launch of the MySports Genre Pack.
While English-language users have to subscribe to all three to get access to sports, news, and entertainment content, Spanish-language viewers can stream all of these genres through the single pack.
In a bid to draw more attention to this all inclusive package, DirecTV’s new campaign showcases MiEspañol as the go-to destination for Spanish-language entertainment, sports and news.
DirecTV has again teamed up with Adamari López to help spread the awareness,. The brand ambassador partnered with DirecTV last year to launch a ‘Como Nunca Lo Imaginaste‘ (Like You’ve Never Seen It) ad campaign highlighting the service’s expanded Spanish-language options, including the MiEspañol Genre Pack.
In a 30-second TV spot for the new ‘Breadth of Content‘ campaign, López can be seen explaining to a group of guests that DirecTV’s MiEspañol plan provides access to entretenimiento, deportes, noticias y mucho más, y todo en español.
The TV sport also highlights how MiEspañol doesn’t require any annual contract or satellite, and can be streamed anywhere with the DirecTV app.
Following last month’s price increase, the MiEspañol Genre Pack now costs $37.99/mo. However, new subscribers can sign up and pay just $32.99/mo. for the first 2 months.
In return for that monthly price, subscribers get access to more than 60 Spanish-language channels, including Univision and Telemundo, and ViX Premium with ads at no additional cost.
