The Vidgo live TV streaming service is currently just $10 per month for the first two months. This is a fairly significant discount compared to the usual cost and provides consumers with a way to access live TV, including sports, news and entertainment channels, at a low cost.

Vidgo is a newer live TV streaming option and one that places a greater emphasis on social features, such as the ability to watch live events remotely with others. However, it is also a typical live TV streaming service with access to a number of channels for a set amount each month.

New and returning subscribers can currently sign up to Vidgo for just $10 per month, for two months, and gain access to more than 85 channels. Although not specified, the number and selection of channels indicates the discount is for the company’s Plus plan, Vidgo’s premium package featuring both NFL Network and NFL RedZone.

As this is a heavily discounted promotion, Vidgo is not offering subscribers a free trial, in addition to the lower price. Therefore, consumers will be expected to pay the $10 for the first month when signing up. Vidgo also does not currently specify when this promotion will come to an end, so interested consumers may want to sign up sooner than later.

Other Vidgo $10 plan caveats

The Vidgo Plus plan was previously $50 per month, highlighting just how much the price has been lowered by this deal. However, that price was already discounted $5 as part of a long-term promotion the company was running. As a result, consumers who remain subscribers after the initial sixty-day period will be billed at $55 per month.

In addition, the discounted plan will automatically change to a regular-priced plan following the deal period. Therefore, consumers will need to manually cancel their subscription before the sixty days are up, if they want to avoid paying the full $55 for the third month.

There’s also a more general limitation that consumers should be aware of before signing up. Although up to three simultaneous streams are available, and there’s an option to watch recently broadcast shows for up to twenty-four hours, Vidgo still doesn’t offer a traditional cloud DVR, resulting in a limited recording experience.

Overall, Vidgo offers a wide enough selection of channels to make the $10 promotional price worth considering. This is cheaper than both Philo and Sling TV’s current monthly pricing and comes with a greater number of channels.
